The most expensive auction foal was PK Bright Star (Big Star x Argentinus) who was sold for an impressive £24,000, congratulations to this lovely filly's breeders, Peter and Kelly White.
There were several more foals in 5 figures, with two Luidam foals selling very well for their breeders. Congratulations to Oliver Gibney of Olistar Stud whose Olistar Lucina (Luidam x Andiamo) achieved an excellent price of £12,000 and Derek Ricketts whose foal Market Damsel (Luidam x Tinka's Boy) made £11,500.
Overall, just over half the foals were sold, a not dissimilar percentage to last year. The exciting news is that overall prices were up significantly, with an average price at a very respectable £7,230, indicating that the sale is moving in the right direction.
