Bosty's Nippon d'Elle retired from the sport
Roger-Yves Bost's 16-year-old Selle Français stallion, Nippon d'Elle (by Scheriff d'Elle x Narcos II) will in the future enjoy his sportive retirement. As it states in a facebook message of the owners.

Last week Bosty and Nippon d'Elle returned after over one year being out in the arena. At the international fivestar competition in Basel, Switzerland the combination tried their comeback. In their career the pair jumped together over five international victories. Nippon d'Elle claimed the win at the 4* Grand Prix in Fontainebleau, France, the Nations Cup in Aachen and the CSI3* GP in Arezzo, Italy in one year.

Recently Bosty and his stallion jumped to the runner-up spot in the CANA Cup in Spruce Meadows, Calgary.

From now on, the stallion will be used in the breeding sport. On the Haras d'Elle - his birth place - Nippon will spend his last days. Soon he will enter the arena again during the stallionshow in St. Lo.

At the moment Nippon has over 10 offsprings. Most famous is the Zangersheide-bred Nilane d'Elle, who jumps at a 1.45m level with Hubert Pignolet.
