Flanders Foal Auction impresses with valued selection
Yet again the Flanders Foal Auction attracted the big crowd and interested buyers to the equestrian center C&M in Bonheiden, Belgium. On Saturday evening the auction offered a top selection of foals that attracted interest from all over the world.

The organisation is happy with the eventual result of the auction. Although the weather wasn't perfect for the time of the year, the auction did surpass it. The auction's top horse, Queen Vegas van 't Merelsnest (Darco x Voltaire) has found its new owner in Ireland for no less as 27 000 Euro.  The 3/4th-sister of USA's best jumping Belgian Warmblood-horse, Sapphire was the eye-catcher of the evening. Also Compère-K van 't Kattenheye (Comme Il Faut x Casall Ask) impressed the bidders. Not only his outstanding pedigree catched the attention, also his movements in the ring. The stallion found his new home in Sweden for 22 000 Euro. Moreover the best five sold foals, reflect the international interest for the auction.

Again an embryo was on the auction list. The embryo out of Obourg x Cento and the Dam-line of Walloon de Muze was auctioned for no less as 20 000 Euro. Cassini's dam-line offered Florida (For Pleasure x Clinton I). The foal will soon move to the United States of America after a sale of 18 000 Euro.

The average auction price on Saturday evening was rounded on 13 000 Euro.
