Emily Moffit becomes British
Last week Emily Moffit jumped to glory in the CSI2* Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival. At the moment she was already representing Great-Britain. Today Moffit joins Great-Britain's Nations Cup team. Ben Maher's pupil will make her debut next month for the Brits at the WEF in Florida.

Moffit has put her goal on the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. According to Moffit, the USA is not giving her enough chances to achieve that goal, therefor she has decided to start competing for her father's national country.

"I didn't get enough chances in the American team," states Moffit. "My mind is set on the 2020 Olympic Games . Together with my father and our team we are working hard to reach that goal. As I live in Great-Britain, I actually do feel partially British as such it is a logic step I take."

Together with Ben Maher (Cliff 67), Sam Hutton (Happydam), Jessica Mendoza (Toy Boy) and Amanda Derbyshire (Sibell BH or Luibanta BH), Moffit will be a part of the Nations Cup team next month.

"I didn't expect to be competing for Great-Britain at a Nations Cup that soon."
