Germany takes Belgium Nations Cup win
Last weekend a total of 15 international teams were supposed to compete at the first Nations Cup of the year for the Student Riding community. The AIEC Nations Cup took place in Oud-Heverlee, Belgium. Because of the earlier terroristic attacks only nine official teams showed up, making it an exiting competition.

Eventually it was in international composed team returning home with the victory. As official winner it was Germany who was the best. The German team was composed by Ruth Kaumanns, Liesa Schaller and Elena Otto-Erley. The team took the gold dressage medal as well as a fifth place in show jumping.

At an international student riders Nations Cup all participants need to ride in both dressage as show jumping. Germany finished in a second place and was followed by Norway, while international team Simba placed third.

Individually it was Peer Eitenmüller who impressed the crowd. The rider jumped to a second place and impressed the dressage crowd with a fourth spot. Taking home the overal win.

Germany's Liesa Schaller followed in a second place while Dutch Rosemarijn Strijder completed the stage. Timmie Haugerud and Max Zuijlen followed in a fourth and fifth place. Because the majority of teams showed up their ranking will count for this years President Cup points. Only the top six of this ranking will be qualified to compete in the Gold League at this years World Finals.
