King Darco has passed away
It's a dark day for the equestrian world. Today Doda de Miranda had to say goodbye to one of his star horses, also Ludo Philippaerts saw his star leaving for a "better place." The Belgian Warmblood horse King Darco (by Darco) has passed away aged 29-years-old.

"We'll miss our King," states Ludo Philippaerts. "Our King was our super star. You gave us everything. A wonderful World Equestrian Games, Olympic and many ore experiences."

In 1995 Ludo Philippaerts did compete King Darco for the first time. The combination won the Grand Prix competitions at the Porte de Versailles, Paris and Helsinki. Further they impressed at the World Cup qualifier in Oslo and the Nations Cup in Kiskunhalas.

One year later the pair jumped to the Belgium senior Championships title. The pair jumped together an impressive international resume.
