Belgian and British victories in Bonheiden

At the CSI2* competition of Bonheiden, two big classes were scheduled for today. The first class was the 'Prijs IN Showjumpers', a 1.30m class ridden against the clock. The Belgian rider Frederik Cattebeke was the fastest in front of his home crowd. He rode Zirkit to the victory in 55,22 seconds. This appeared to be a very fast time that no other combination could beat. The Norwegian rider Cecilie Hatteland finished on second place. She rode Courgar Z G&C to the finish line in 53,60 seconds. 'La douce France' completed the podium. The French rider Sophie Michiel and her horse Taiga de Tus finished on 54;67 seconds, reassuring themselves of the third spot.

The top five in this class was completed by Belgium and Portugal. Bunoit Moeskops took account for the fourth place with ILY vy Plutoniahor Z. Fifth place was voor Bernardo Mathias and Jealous.

The second CSI2* class was the GP qualifier. It was a 1.40m class ridden against the clock as well. Because there were more than 100 entries in this class, the organization decided to make two rankings meaning this class had two winners. The British Laura Mantel took the victory in the first part of the class. She speeded Glory BV to victory in 66,30 seconds. In the second part of the class, it was the Belgian rider Thierry Goffinet who won. He and Navarro UK crossed the finish line in 64,68 seconds.

Second place was for Mauricio Ruiz (Verona VII) and Francesca Capponi (Magical JW). Trevor been (Bomvay) and Vincent Voorn (Quilan) took account for the third place.
