Constant van Paesschen now going to the WEG
When the Belgian Show Jumping Team was announced on Monday it caused quite a stir as Constant van Paesschen (pictured) did not receive his well deserved place on the Team.

Van Paesschen, along with the owners of Van Paesschen's top horse, Citizengaurd Toscan de Sainte Hermelle, decided to take legal action. The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in Van Paesschen's favour today.

Constant van Paesschen is now on the team for the World Equestrian Games in Normandy. Now the Belgian Equestrian Federation will have to decide who should be removed from the Team.

The team was initially : Pieter Devos (Dream of India Greenfield), Gregory Wathlet (Conrad de Hus), Olivier Philippaerts (Cabrio van de Heffinck), Jos Lansink (Ensor Litrange LXII) and Jos Verlooy (Domino) as reserve.

The final decision should be revealed either today or tomorrow as the deadline for team selection is today.
