Dutch dominate the Wierden Grand Prix
At the CSI2* Grand Prix in Wierden, the Netherlands, it were the home riders who dominated the class. Set at a height of 1.45m the Longines Ranking class saw Dutch  Jelmer Hoekstra and the 11-year-old Quinoa Des Riollets (by Calvaro Z) as winning pair. The combination finished their jump-off clear in 36.13 seconds, over one second faster as compatriot Michael Greeve.

Greeve competed the 10-year-old KWPN-horse, Eurohill's Africa (by Guidam). The pair finished in 37.64 seconds. A total of 10 combinations qualified for the jump-off, nine of them produced a clear jump-off round.  Austria's Julia Kayser and the sBs Sterrehof's Ushi (by Vigo d'Arsouilles) placed third.

The top five was completed by Mexico's ERnesto Canseco aboard Celebrity VDL (by Indoctro) and Great Britain's WIlliam Funnell with Billy Congo (by Vechta).
