French victory in Saturday's CSI2* Prix Genes Diffusion in Saint Lo
On late saturday evening 72 competitors participated in the CSI2* Prix Genes Diffusion at the horse show in French Saint Lo. In the end the public could celebrate a French victory by Gregory Cottard, followed by Dermott Lennon from Ireland and another french rider, Adeline Hecart, place third.

The 1.45m - class, ridden against the clock was challenging and only 10 horse-rider-combinations stayed clear. With the fastest round in 55:35 seconds, Cottard, competing the Selle Francais - mare Regate d'Aure (by Robin li Z), secured the victory and 6250€ price money. Almost three seconds later Ireland's Dermott Lennon arrived at the finish. Aboard the Chatman - daughter Fleur IV he stopped the clock at 58:24 seconds and claimed the second place. With Adeline Hecart and Question d'Orval (by Rosire) another French combination was in good shape, as the pair finished third by staying clear in 58:76 seconds.

Christophe Vanderhasselt for Belgium and the BWP - mare Identity Vit Seroel (by Air Jordan Z) stayed clear in 59:82 seconds and secured Rank 4. Aymeric De Ponnat and his grey Chanel (by Up to Date) completed the Top 5 by crossing the finish line at 61:27 seconds.
