As the momentum of the evening builds up the CSI2* riders concluded their day at Long Beach with the 1.45m set heigh Hermès Sellier price. From the 18 pairs at the start only three managed to produce a clear first round, qualifying for the jump-off.

USA's Jamie Barge tacked up the 11-year-old Grey Lord Pezi-son, Luebbo for this track. The combination crossed the finish in 34.21 seconds, claiming the 8,650 USD win. Zazou Hoffmann followed in a second place aboard Samson II (by Cardento). They also finished their jump-off faultless in a time of 34.79 seconds.

Sweden's Hanna Mauritzson and Parkmore Lux took of with a fast start, until one rail fell down. The pair eventually concluded in a third place with one jumping fault.

The top five was completed by Tina Yates with Zelote VDL (by Chin chin) in fourth and Mavis Spencer aboard Cornetiero (by Cornet Obolensky) in fifth.

Later today the Longines LA Masters offer a full CSI5* program with two classes on the program.
