Pieter Devos in the lead of current FEI World Cup ranking
The current FEI World Cup season already faced two exciting events in Oslo and Helsinki. After finishing both times within the Top 5 it is Pieter Devos, who takes the lead in the 16/17 ranking.

The Belgian showjumper came in 3rd at the opening class in Oslo one week ago, and could repeat his good performance at this weeks World Cup in Helsinki where he claimed a fourth place. Therefore, he accumulated 28 points for the current ranking and will enter the arena in Lyon upcoming weekend from pole-position.

Germany's leading lady Meredith Michaels Beerbaum follows with 25 points on second place, after finishing 2nd in the CSI5* World Cup of Helsinki. Steve Guerdat completes the temporary podium with a total of 25 points after adding a 4th and 5th place from both World Cup classes to his results.

Alberto Zorzi, debuting this World Cup season and already having a victory secured, shares the current 4th place with Romain Duguet, who won this weekends World Cup of Helsinki. Both riders hold 20 points in the current ranking.
