Half of the horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off. Former German Champion, Daniel Deusser, finished second. Together with Toulago (by Toulon) he finished two seconds slower as Delestre. Third place coloured Finish thanks to Anna-Julia Kontio and Pacific des Essarts.
10 out of the 24 starters in the jump-off finished clear. The top five was completed by Carlos Lopez (Prince de la Mare) and Martin Fuchs (Conte Della Caccia) in fourth and fifth.
