Cosmo 59 secured for Sönke Rothenberger and German Team
The ten year old Dutch bred Cosmo 59 is secured for the German dressageteam as well as for rider Sönker Rothenberger. Eurodressage announced that business man Ralph Westhoff bought half of the horse for six million euros earlier this month.

Rothenberger made quite an impression at only 22 years old with the Van Gogh son during their International debut. In 2014 they won a team golden medal during the European Championships for the Young Riders, after which they made their switch to the Grand Prix. In 2016 they were chosen to compete at the Olympic Games in Rio, bringing home a team golden medal as well. Individual they took home a seventh place in the Grand Prix.

Westhoff is the managing director of a German company 'Kraiberg Corporation' that sells rubber products all over the world. The company has 2000 employees and achieves an annual turnover of approximately 500 million euro. Westhoff also is the owner of Bozanjo and Florenciano who are stabled with Eyal Zlatin. He also bought the seven year old Sankt Anton for Sanneke Rothenbergen.
