“This was my best test ever, really!” was how Dutch Hans-Peter Minderhoud starte the press conference after his home win in the FEI Worldcup at Indoor Brabant. He might have done the impossible today! In a head to head he and his horse Glock’s Flirt (by Floristan I) were better then Isabel Werth, who had not lost a single Worldcup event this year season.
The Glock rider and his Floristan I son presented the Dutch public in de Brabanthallen a fantatsic Freestale that gave him a personal record of 84.490%.
“Everything was just perfect today. It was a bit scary. I was praying I would not make any mistake” a happy Hans-Peter said.
Werth found herself in a “new” position with Emilio (by Ehrenpreis) today. Since Rio last summer the German rider had not lost any Grand Prix event. And won five WC events with three different horses. Today she surprisingly did.
“It is great for the sport that somone else wins. Now I really need to watch it” Werth said. “Everything was fine with me and Emilio today. But Hans-Peter was just better. ”
Pregnant Jessica von Bredow-Werndl finished in thirde place with her KWPN bred Zaire-E (by Son de Niro). The pair produced a nice steady test and got rewarded with 80.265%.
