Matthias Alexander Rath and Foundation ride to first place in Le Mans

It's been quite a while since we've seen Matthias Alexander Rath (pictured with Totilas) and Foundation (Fidertanz) in the competition ring. This morning however, the combination won the Prix St. Georges at the international competition in Le Mans. Rath also claimed second place, this time with the seven-year-old Beaulieu (Blue Hors Bentley).

Last May we saw Rath and Foundation win in Mannheim with a total score of 77,366%. Today the combination scored 73,763%. With Beaulieu, Rath scored exactly 72%. Maria Eilberg and Sarotti (Donnerhall x Optimistin) claimed third place with 71,342%. Switzerland took fourth place with Birgit Wientzek Pläge and Hot Secret (Hotline). The fifth place went to Dutch rider Joyce Lenaerts and Euro (Voice).
