Wienkamp, Juardo Lopez and Pohlmeier new World Champions with Young Dressage Horses
This weekend the Dutch Ermelo was all about the young dressage horses. They got to show their worth at the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses. In the class for the 5-year old horses, the victory went to Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Don Martillo (f. Don Juan de Hus). They got an overal score of 9,74 points and with this score they beat all competition. Ferrari OLD (f. Faundation) and his rider Andreas Heigstrand ended on second place. This stallion got an overall score of 9,2 points. Jan Moller Christensen and Hesselhoej Donkey Boy (f. Era Dancing Hit) completed the podium.

The finale for the 7-year old horses has been ridden yesterday evening. Severeo Jesus Juardo Lopez and his mare Fiontino (f. Fassbinder) can call himself the new World Champion. This Spanish combination got an overal score of 85,656%. The silver medal went to the Dutch lady rider Kirsten Brouwer. Brouwer and Sultan des Paluds (f. Soliman de Hus) rode a beautiful round and got rewarded 83,515% by the jury. The Danish Anne Troensegaard and Kipling (f. Hofrat) completed the podium. They got an overall score of 80,683%.

The last finale of the World Championship has just been ridden: the finale for 6-year old horses. The victory went to the German rider Anne-Kathrin Pohlmeier and Lordswood Dancing Diamond (f. Danier). This combination got an overal score of 9,72 points with resulted in a clear victory.

The second place went to Adelinde Cornelissen. With Governor-Str (f. Totilas) under the saddle, she got an overal score of 9,06 points. The third place on the podium went to Frederic Wandres. He and Sir Skyfall OLD (f. Sandro Hit) got a total of 8,86 seconds.
