Jean-Lou Bigot's Twist la Beige deceased at 32 years old



Jean-Lou Bigot's Olympic horse Twist la Beige died at the age of 32 years old yesterday. In 2002 the Djahil son said goodbye to his career and could enjoy his old day.

The pair booked some major results over the years. In 1993 they became European Champion in Achselschwang. While at the World Equestrian Games they won team silver in The Hague (Netherlands) and Rome (Italy). In 2000 the pair entered the Olympic Games in Sydney. Finishing at a strong individual 12th place, while the French team ended up in 10th place.

In 2002 the horse was put to his retirement and could enjoy his old day in the stables of Bigot.
