Abu Dhabi crowns its young GP winners
Today it was the youth that dominated the Al Shira'AA international horse show in Abu Dhabi. In the Young Riders Grand Prix Ahmed Rahman Abdul Ameen jumped to victory aboard the 14-year-old Holsteiner Corando AA (by Contendro I). Only two combinations produced a first clear round. Both jumped one rail down in the attempt to set the fastest time. Ameen crossed the finish in 29,14 seconds, almost 10 seconds faster as Sultan Hamad Al Yahyaei and the 11-years-old KWPN-gelding Bon Jovi (by Namelus R).

Moh'D Saeed Al Maazmi and Al Commandos (by Stakkato) placed third with a finish in 66,62 seconds and one rail down in the first round. Khalida Abdulla Humaid Al Muhairi and the 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Hattrick van de Noordheuvel (by Toulon) placed just outside the stage on the fourth place.

With the juniors it was Humaid Abdalla Omar Al Owais and the 13-year-old gelding O(Connell( by Cenzor) who topped the class. The pair produced a clear jump-off in 29,55 seconds. Only four combinations qualified for the jump-off. Aziz Omar Abdul Al Marzooqi and the 9-year-old Campina (by Cartani) followed as runner-up with a clear finish in 31,65 seconds.

With the Children it was Aisa Omran Al Owais and Varo Beech (by Calvaro) who claimed victory in the Children Grand Prix.
