Adeline Hecart takes a strong win in Abu Dhabi's CSI4* Longines Grand Prix
The Al Shira'AA International Horse Show concluded its sportive four-day event with the 1.6àm Longines Grand Prix. From the 32 starters no less than 13 qualified for the jump-off. However only the top three produced a double clear round.

Eventually it was France's Adeline Hecart who set the record track aboard her 14-year-old Selle Français-gelding, Pasha du Gue (by Dollar Dela Pierre). The pair crossed the finish in 52.60 seconds. As such they were just no two seconds faster as runner-up Abdulraham Khaled Almobty and the 10-year-old Holsteiner mare, Zypern 4 (by Landos). Zypern 4 is from the same grand mother mare Alaska II who also produced Campari 220 (by Caretino).

Khalid Hilal Al Khatri and the 12-year-old Awa BDF (by Quidam de Revel) followed in a third place after a clear round in 56.96 seconds.

the top five was completed by Abdullah Mohd Al Marri. The local show jumping rider set the fastest time. With under the saddle, Sama Dubai FBH (by Stakkato) he stopped the time in 50.04 seconds, with one jumping fault on the board. Spain's Jesus Luis Escobar completed the top five with a fifth place aboard Pour le Poussage (by Plytraum).
