The outdoor arena of Casas Novas will see riders like Julien Epaillard, a rider who seems to feel very comfortable in Casas Novas, as he has a few victories behind him, and comes from winning this summer the Grand Prix of the CSI3* in Knokke and the LGCT in Paris, both of them riding Usual Suspect D'Auge, horse with which he will also compete in Galicia; The Argentine Olympic José María Larocca, winner of this year's Grand Prix CSI4* in San Giovanni; the Belgian Gudrun Pattet, who earlier this month proclaimed herself the winner of the Grand Prix of the CSI5* in Knokke ,also riding one of the horses she is bringing to compete in Casas Novas. We will also have two members of the Canadian team such as Tiffany Foster and Kara Chad, or the Chilean based in Madrid Uri Rosenzweig, who was the youngest champion of Chile in history, in good shape after his good results in the CSI2 * Santander.
Spain will have great representation this year after the agreement between the RFHE and Casas Novas which grants more places to the Spaniards than were normally awarded in this competition. Riders like Alberto Márquez Galobardes, current runner-up of Spain; Diego Perez Bilbao, double zero recently in two Nations Cups; Julio Arias, who won the CSI3 * Grand Prix of Lummen, Kevin González de Zárate, the recent winner of the CSI2* Santander Grand Prix, or Leticia Riva, a young rider who is part of the Spanish team in the European Championship; will measure their skill against the international riders. Also will jump in the larynose arena great figures of the national panorama like Luis Astolfi, Luis Fernandez Gil-Fournier or Cayetano Martinez de Irujo. Representing Galicia will be riders like Javier González Fraga, or the youngest coruñés, Diego Ramos, who with only 15 years is also part of the Spanish team in the European Championship and at the beginning of the year won the Grand Prix of the XVII Trofeo Casas Novas.
