In Antwerp it once again was a busy day with two 2-star competitions and one 1-star competition. Another five star class will be ridden this evening.
In the 1m35 class it was Belgium’s Patrik Spits who speeded to victory. With Bellissimo Z (f. Bamako de Muze) under the saddle, he finished in 62,88 seconds. The second place went to Belgium as well. Stephanie Andries and Javenia (f. Non Stop) rode a clear round in 63,68 seconds. Diego Perez Bilbao completed the podium. He and his 9-year old Uppercut de Bethune (f. Quidam de Revel) cleared the course in 64,77 seconds.
Petronella Andersson and Entre Nous (f. Conan Z) ended on fourth place. Wouter Devos followed on fifth place with Emporio Van T Holeinde (f. Fetiche du Pas).
In the 1m45 class it was Diego Perez Bilbao who took home the first prize. With the Baloubet D. RO daughter Hh Best Buy under the saddle, he was almost three seconds faster then Patrik Spits who ended on seconde place. This time, Spits saddled Jacobien Dwergse Hagen (f. Va-Vite) to ride to the finish line in 66,00 seconds. The young British rider Jack Whitaker ended on third place. He rode his 11-year old stallion Street Hassle (f. Quick Star) in 67,92 seconds to the finish line.
Catherine Offner and Freestyle Lady (f. Nagano) follow on fourth place. The top five was completed by Theo Simpson and Touch of Chili (f. Out Of Touch).
The 1m15 class of the 1-star competition has just ended. It was an all-Belgian top five with Anne De Doncker as the winner. She rode a super-fast round with Gazelle Van Moretus (f. Cicero). This Belgian combination cleared the course in 55,88 seconds. Melissa Laenen and In Time (f. Winningmood vd Arenberg) took the second place on the podium with a time of 56,24 seconds. Mike Van Belle and Hakuna Matata en M (f. Heartbreaker) completed the podium.
Niki Geenens, the winner of yesterday’s class, took the fourth place with Gazelle van de Vaelenberg. Axelle Druyts and Ellexa de Nuit (f. Zirocco Blue VDL) were fifth.
