Marlon Zanotelli won the event of 1.45 m Thursday, counting for Ranking Longines of FEI. The Brazilian rider with the mare Sirene de La Motte, of 11 years, was fastest having completed the competition Hospital de Loulé without faults in 58.59 seconds.
Marlon Zanotelli, that is having a good performance in the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour 2017, placed second in two of the Grand Prix already played, one of them with the mare Sirene de La Motte (Apache d’Adriers x Uriel d’Orval).
The Ranking competition, the Dutch Johnny Pals was the second (with Anna JO). The third was the Australian Rowan Willis (with Shark).
In the remaining contests of the day, the Portuguese Martim Portela de Morais won the competition of 1.30 m (Table A) with the mare Cilgen (Cordobes I x Joost). The British James Smith won second place. Reynald Angot, from France, took third place.
In the competition of 1.35m French set Laurent Goffinet and Valkyrie Condeenne was the best. The British Daniel Moseley with Escapado S was second. The Portuguese rider Luís sabino Gonçalves finished third (with Twix V Overis Z) and Duarte Seabra in fourth place (with All About Fernhill).
On Wednesday final for 7-year-old horses the german rider Marc Bettinger won with the mare Celina IX. With obstacles to 1.45 m, the final was played in two hand. The Brazilian Marlon Zanotelli took second place, with VDL Frieze Smh. Third place went to British Laura Mantel with the mare Funnycan.
In week of finals in Vilamoura Atlantic tour 2017, Thierry Goffinet was who else won. The Belgian rider won the finals for horses of 5 and 6 years.
In the final for 6-year-old horses, on Tuesday, Goffinet won with the Stallion Landiamo S (Andiamo x Darco). Chloe Aston and Jude Burgess, United Kingdom, were in second and third place. Francisco Rocha, with Lanzarote de Muze, was the best Portuguese, with the fourth place.
In Wednesday's final for 5-year-old horses the Belgian set Thierry Goffinet and Mr Idol S. was the best. The rest of the podium was British with Vanessa Jobson-Scott in second place and Jude Burgess in third.
