Casio Rivetti's topmare Fine Fleur du Marais on her way to Switzerland
Casio Rivetti sees his best mare Fine Fleur du Marais leaving to Switzerland. Casio Rivetti competed at the Olympics with this 11-year old Toulon daughter. After that, Rivetti broke his leg at the Stephex Masters in Brussels and while he's rehabilitating he has to say goodbye to his best mare. In her young years, Fine Fleur was also ridden by ex-STX rider Eiken Sato.

The new owner of Fine Fleur is the father of the Swiss lady rider Flaminia Straumann. You probably expect that she will be riding the mare in the future, but that's not the case. The 62-year old Walter Gabathuler will be taking over the reins.

Gabathuler already tried to build an international career many years ago and now, with this mare, he gets a second chance. Besides Fine Fleur, Straumann also trusted Gabathuler with Silver Surfer (f. Cornet Obolensky). Gabathuler hopes to have reached it former level at the CSI5* competition of Basel.
