Chloe Aston dominates in Vilamoura
Before the Grand Prix starts in Vilamoura there were two more CSI3* classes. In the 1.40m class the British dominated. The first place was for Chloe Aston with her Amigo T, a KWPN gelding by Padinus who already ended third on Tuesday.

The second place was for Emily Ward with under her saddle Witch (by Rash R), she stopped the clock in 54.85 seconds. Also the third place was for Chloe Aston now with the horse Cecilia (by Coronado) that put the chrono in 55.23 seconds.

The last Brit in the row in Sammie Jo Coffin, he rode with Willem de Lux (by Lupicor) around the course in 55.59 seconds. The top five was completed by the Portuguese Luis Sabino Gonçalves with d'Inzeo Imperio Egipcio (by Odermus R) in 56,34 seconds.

The 1.30m class was won by Mariano Martinez Bastida for Spain. He came into the arena with Vahine de Bremoy (by Contendro I) and stopped the time in 52.16 seconds. He was followed by James Smith with Cumina (by Cumano) in a time of 53.62 seconds. The top three was completed by another British rider Sophie Fawcett. She had under her saddle Quite Cadiz (by Quite Easy) and stopped the time in 54.16 seconds.
