CSI Vilamoura: Deseuzes speeds to victory in 1,40m class
In Vilamoura, a busy day is still going strong. Three classes of the CSI3* competition have already been ridden.

In the 1,40m class it was Nicolas Deseuzes who took the victory. He speeded through the course and finished in 42,34 seconds with his Razzia des Sables (f. Zandor Z). The second place went to Nicole Pavitt. She rode a clear second phase with her 10-year old Hussah T.M (f. Diamant de Semilly). Marc Bettinger completed the top three with the 9-year old mare Quincy W (f. Quinnus II).  They left the wood untouched and finished in 49,11 seconds.

The fourth place was for the French rider Olivier Guillon. He and his Selle Français gelding Vitot du Chateau cleared the course in 49,11 seconds. The fifth place went to Celine Schoonbroodt-De Azevedo. Her Selle Français Mare Venus de'lEyre (f. Quick Star) left the wood untouched and finished in 49,62 seconds.

In the 1,35m class it was the Portuguese rider Francisco Rocha who won in front of his home crowd. He saddled C Berriz Z (f. Coltaire Z) to ride to the finish line in 58,52 seconds. The American Brittany Albrecq ended on second place with Apart (f. Eurocommerce Washington). They jumped a clear round in 59,85 seconds. Duarte Seabra completed the top three. He and his Zangersheide mare Axelle M Z (f. Concorde) left the wood untouched and finished in 60,29 seconds.

Sammie Jo Coffin (Zig Zag) and Britanny Albrecq (Excellent) completed the top three. They ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.

In the 1,20m class it were the Romanian rider Luca Ruxandariu who ruled the show: he took account of the first and second place. He saddled Rubens to ride to the victory in 58,95 seconds, for the second place he took Pop Non Stop (f. Non Stop R) out of his stable. The British Abbie Summers completed the top three with (f. Mr Darcy). They jumped a beautiful clear round in 60,28 seconds.

Marta Alegria Couto (Havana LV) and Jongbeum Lee (Cracker Jack D 2) completed the top three
