Daniel Coyle takes an impressive win at the WEF I Grand Prix
WEF I - the first week of the Winter Equestrian Festival - concluded with the 75,000 USD Rosenbaum Mollengarden PLLC Grand Prix on Sunday.

Daniel Coyle jumped to victory aboard the 10-year-old Cita. The combination stopped the clock in 37.051 seconds. Conor Swail followed as a runner-up. With under the saddle, Flower, Swail crossed the finish in 37.167 seconds. Last year Swail and Flower jumped on stage in the ESP Grand Prix.

USA's Catherine Tyree placed third with the KWPN-gelding Bokai (by Up to Date). Tyree recently acquired Bokai. Before it was Victoria Gulliksen and Harrie Smolders who competed the horse.

 

The top five was completed by Margie Engle (Indigo, by Indoctro) and Ariani Celso (Bento) in a fourth and fifth place. Peter Lutz followed in sixth with the 12-years-old Retiro (by Rockfeller 2), formerly known as Troya Retiro. Last summer this pair jumped to the fourth place in Spruce Meadows' 1.50m class.
