Daniel Coyle unbeatable in Miami Beach
Just before the second round of the Global Champions League in Miami the international riders  competed their 1.40m class of the Longines Global Champions Tour at Miami Beach. The Belgian Bred Fortis Fortuna (by Quidam de Revel) jumped to glory. Joris De Brabander's breeding product jumped clear in 45.89 seconds, delivering the win to Ireland's Daniel Coyle.

Great-Britain's Amanda Derbyshire followed as runner-up. Together with the 11-year-old Lady Maria BH (by Cartani) she crossed the finish in 48.80 seconds. With the 7-year-old KWPN-horse Farona Coyle also placed third.

Together with the Baltic VDL-mare Coyle stopped the clock in 49.16 seconds.  Farona was before ridden by VDL Stud-rider, Hames Billington. Last year in May the mare was sold for 240,000 USD at the VDL Auction in Wellington.

The top five was completed by Reynaldo Roberto Daza Cardozo with the 11-year-old Biscayo in fourth and America's Cloe Hymowitz with Cylana (by Skippy II) in fifth. The 15-year-old mare, Cylana van de Ruitershoeve, was before competed by Reed Kessler at an 1.60m level.
