Daniel Deusser jumps to first World Cup victory of the Western European Season
A total of seven combinations qualified for the jump-off in the first FEI World Cup jumping of the Western European Season in Oslo, Norway. Five of the starters produced a double clear round.

Aboard Cornet (by Cornet Obolensky) Daniel Deusser concluded his weekend in Oslo in Style. The pair jumped to glory winning the 1.60m world cup qualifier after a clear finish in 36.83 seconds. The pair stayed ahead of Kevin Staut with For Joy van 't Zorgvliet HDC (by For Pleasure). The French show jumping rider completed the jump-off track in 36.96 seconds.

Edwina Tops Alexander followed in a third place with the 10-year-old KWPN-mare, California (by L'Esprit). Sweden's Peder Fredricsson (H&M Christian K, by Namelus R) and Douglas Lindelöw (Zacramento, by Cardento) followed in a fourth and fifth place.

Both Halifax van het Kluizebos (by Heartbreaker) with Lorenzo de Luca  and Eldorado van het Vijverhof (by Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) with Gregory Wathelet decided to quit the course before finishing.

The next leg of the World Cup season is next week in Helsinki.
