Deusser impresses Hong Kong with spectacular win
In Hong Kong, the highlight of this evening has just been ridden: a 1m50 class for the 5* riders. 22 combinations entered the show ring for this class ridden in two rounds. The best ten combinations of the first round could come back for the second round.

The fast Belgian rider Jérôme Guery stood in the lead for a very long time with his Garfield de Tiji des Templiers (f. Quasimodo Z). His time of 40,97 seconds seemed to become the fastest, but that was before Deusser entered the ring. Deusser went fast as lightening and rode two seconds faster then Guery, rewarding him and Cornet d'Amour (f. Cornet Obolensky) with the first place. Guery ended on second place. The top three was completed by the British rider Robert Smith and Ilton (f. Dulf vd Bisschop).

Simon Delestre ended on fourth place. With Chadino (f. Chacco-Blue) under the saddle, he finished in 41,96 seconds. John Whitaker and Crumley (f. Cassus) completed the top five.
