Devos brothers on top in main class Beervelde
In Belgium's Beervelde, the main class of this evening has just been ridden. It was a 1m50 class with jump-off. 45 combinations entered the show ground and 14 of them managed to ride a clear first round and came back for the jump-off. It that jump-off it were the Belgian riders who ruled the show. They took almost all top five placings with a win in front of the Belgian public to top it all.

The first place was for Pieter Devos. Devos already won the Masters earlier this week and now he once again saddled his Haloubet Hitchcock (f. Baloubet du Rouet) to ride to victory. This combination cleared the course in 42,28 seconds. The second place went to his brother Wouter Devos, who finished on second place behind his brother in the Masters as well. He and his 14-year old gelding Tonik Hero (f. Ogano Sitte) cleared the jump-off in 42,28 seconds. The third place on the podium went to Belgium as well. The Belgian lady rider Virginie Thonon and her High Tech Vy de Septon (f. Del Piero P&B) jumped a clear round and finished in 43,90 seconds.

The young Belgian talent Gilles Thomas and Uncas S (f. Udarco) ended on fourth place. Dayro Arroyave and Adele (f. Cassini I) completed the top five.

In the 1m35 class of the 3-star competition, the victory went to Roger Mccrea. He rode his 10-year old Laptop gelding in 26,08 seconds to the finish line, leaving the wood untouched. Virginie Thonon and Koquette (f. Gladstone) took account of the second place. They cleared the second phase in 26,30 seconds. Belgium's Koen Vereecke and Jade Van Ten Breebroek (f. Clipper vd Begijnakker d'10) ended on third place.

Jessica Geurts (Hunter Van Berimar) and Patrik Spits (Dolce Vita DH) completed the top five. They ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.

The first class of the day was a CSI3* 1m40 class. This morning the Swedish lady rider Jonna Ekberg was in great form and rode to victory in 24,55 seconds. She saddled Stella Levista (f. Satisfaction) for the job. Gilles Dunon and Valentino du Val du Geer (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof) ended on second place. The Brazilian top rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Vice Versa d'Ossau (f. For Pleasure) ended on third place after a clear round in 26,17 seconds.

The fourth place went to Brazil as well. Joa Victor Castro and Chippo Z (f. Chippendale Z) cleared the course in 27,10 seconds. Emilie Conter and Salto des Casty (f. Elf d'OR) ended on fifth place.
