Dutch brothers dominate under Italian Sun



Under the Italian sun it's the Dutch that rule today. The brothers Sander and Vincent Geerink were quite the succesful pair today. After several succesful results from Sander Geerink during the day, it was Vincent Geerink who took home the win in the six year old course.

With his Glorieus GR (by Lucky Boy) he stopped the chromo in a time of 42.51 seconds. While also ending in third place with his other horse Granblue F (by Zirocco Blue) in 42.87 seconds. Germany's Heiner Ortmann ended in second place with his Lucky Star V (by Diabeau) in 42.70 seconds.

At the five year olds it was his brother Sander Geerink who ended in second place with his Dutch bred H. Eldorado B. (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek) with whom he stopped the chromo at 44.89 seconds. It was Czech rider Kamil Papousel who jumped to the victory with his Great Feeling (by Grey Top). He also ended up in third en fourth place.

In the seven year olds course it was Swedish rider Alexander Zetterman and his Quintendra (by Nintender) in only 42.79 seconds.
