Early retirement for Simon Delestre's Qlassic Bois Margot
Showjumper Simon Delestre has decided to put his stallion Qlassic Bois Margot (by L'Arc de Triomphe) on early retirement. The fourteen year old blackbrown Selle-Francais stallion will officially say goodbye to the sport on february 24th in Saint-Lô.

At Jump-Inside Delestre said: "Qlassic had some severe cases of eczema and had to be treated intensely with cortisone. This medication is part of the doping list by the FEI, so after consultation it was decided to retire him. However Qlassic is an exceptional horse and is one of the best horses I have ever ridden", says Delestre.

Qlassic started his career with Duarte Romao, Marc Dilasser and Benjamin Robert, before ending up under the saddle by Delestre. With Delestre the combination had a good run right from the start. In 2012 they won the Grand Prix in Mechelen, while two months later in february 2013 they won the Grand Prix of Bordeaux. In that same year there was victory in the Nations Cup of Barcelona, followed by a 1m60 win that same weekend. One year later they won the World Cup in Mechelen and over the years they finished most of the time in the money. Their last show together was last year in Valencia.
