Home rider Maria Bela claims top spot in Madrid
Victory for Spain in the first class of the King’s College Trophy through Maria Bela, who won in a time of 59.55. Also, great performance for the Spaniard Maria Elorz in this CSI1* of Madrid, who placed second in today’s 1.15m class and won yesterday´s 1* class. Third place in the King’s College Trophy went to the British rider Alicia Store, who was also third in yesterday´s CCVM Trophy. 12 riders competed in the first class of the Kings College Trophy (115m), with 11 obstacles and an allowed time of 76 seconds.

In the second class of the trophy, height 1.25m, Alexandra Crown managed to beat the 58.33 seconds of the Chilean Uri Rosenzweig. The American won the class with a magnificent time of 56.64 riding Charley, completing a hat rick of victories this weekend. Second position went to Rosenzweig and third position for the Spaniard Jacobo Ussia de Garay, who held the lead for a few minutes and was the highest placed Spanish rider of the class.
