Julien Epaillard speeds to Grand Prix victory in Oliva Nova
 

At the final day of the MET tour II kick-off in Oliva Nova it was a filled jump-off in the sunny 1.45m international Grand Prix. A total of 15 combinations took the start in the jump-off. Eventually it was Julie Epaillard who speeded to victory.

 

Aboard his SF-sire, Safari D Auge (f. Diamant de Semilly), Epaillard jumped to the win in 36.40 seconds. Italy's Lorenzo de Luca followed as runner-up on the grassy Grand Prix ring. Together with the KWPN-gelding, de Flipper (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof) de Luca stopped the clock in 38.33 seconds.

Epaillard's compatriot, Thierry Rozier completed the stage aboard's Longines Masters' creator, Christophe Ameeuw's breeding product, Venezia d'Ecaussinnes (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof).

Just outside the stage Belgium's Constant van Paesschen placed fourth. With under the saddel Veneur D Isigny (f. Diamant de Semilly) Van Paesschen stayed ahead of Aldrick Cheronnet with Uris de la Roque (f. Flamenco Desemilly).
