More than a second slower came the Dutchmen Maikel van der Vleuten through the finish in 39.36 seconds. He rode his well-known VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. (by Quidam de Revel). The Italian Alberto Zorzi got four faults counted in his jump off with Fai Light van't Heike (by Vigo d'Arsouilles) but was faster than Wathelet. This meant that with a time of 37.82 seconds he ended on a third place.
The Belgian Gregory Wathelet ended on the fourth place in in the jump off, he had a time of 41.48 seconds and four faults counted with his 11 year old Cornet Obolensky mare Coree.
Harrie Smolders and Andreas Kreuzer both had one time penalty in the first round so they ended on the fifth and sixth place.
