Louise Saywell victorious in Hickstead Derby

In the four star Hickstead Derby on a 1m45 course it was British rider Louise Saywell who was victorious with her Peiter VI (by Acorado I) with whom she finished in 71.83 seconds.

She was followed by Kirstie Leightley who finished in second place with her Thais D'La Verrerie (by Socrate de Chivre) with whom she stopped the chromo at 73.65 seconds. Completing the top three was Harriet Nuttall and her Galway Bay Jed (by Romanov) with a time of 75.80 seconds.

The top five was then made up by Kenneth Graham for Ireland with his Lyrical (by Limmerick) in 77.93 seconds, followed by Brazil's Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho with his Berdina (by Untouchable) in fifth place with 78.40 seconds.
