Lucy Deslauriers jumps to glory in the American Gold Cup qualifier
Aboard her 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood horse, Hester (by Wandor van de Mispelaere) Lucy Deslauriers jumped to victory in the 1.60m American Gold Cup qualifier in North Salem, New York.

The international fourstar class counted for Longines Ranking points. Deslauriers and Ivan van Hoecke's breeding product stopped the clock in 37.66 seconds. A total of five combinations produced a clear jump-off. Earlier this summer Deslauriers and her gelding  won the CSI3* Grand Prix in Ottowa, Canada.

In the saddle of her trusted 11-year-old Quintero-son, Breitling LS, Elizabeth Madden jumped to the runner-up position. The USA female show jumping rider crossed the finish in 38.23 seconds and was followed by Adrienne Sternlicht with her Toulon-son, Toulago.

The top five was completed by Mario Deslauriers with the 8-year-old Bardolina (by Clarimo) in fourth and Ali Wolff with Casall (by Casall) in fifth.

Further Catherine Tyree (Enjoy Louis) and Charles Jacobs (Cassinja S) qualifier for the jump-off.
