Martin Fuchs off to a strong start at the Toscana Tour
Today we started with the Toscana Tour in Spain's Arezzo. Over the next few weeks we will find several top riders with their young horses at this event.

We started with the young horses were in the seven year olds at the 1m30/1m35 in a two-phases course Swiss rider Martin Fuchs was unbeatable. Together with his Dutch bred Fugo (by Tygo) he stopped the chromo at 31.58 seconds. He also won the 1m30 with this same horse ensuring a double win in this first day of the Toscana Tour. It was then Italian rider Marco Ciucci and his Larino son Think Twice who ended in second place with a time of 32.71 seconds. While in third place it was Swedish rider Linn Backmann and her Astree de Burgo (by Kannan) who jumped to a time of 32.74 seconds.

At the six year olds it was then Italian rider Mattheo Checchi and his Pistol Pete 111 Z (by Plot Blue). In january he also secured a double victory during the Oliva Tour with this horse. Now he jumped to a time of 72.31 seconds in this 1m30 course.

Then at the five year olds 11 combinations qualified this afternoon. For the Netherlands it was jung Demi van Grunsven and her Hucinta, for Italy it was Mattheo Checchi and his Glamour, then for Sweden it was Rebecca Milton and her My Gold Lady and Joanna Pittet for Switserland with Pixel du Roset.
