Michael Whitaker tops Prize Longines CSIO St Gallen
The last class of the day in St Gallen was the Prize Longines CSIO St Gallen. It was a 1.50m class with jump-off. 11 combinations stayed clear and qualified for this jump-off. It was British legend Michael Whitaker who stayed ahead of the swiss riders. With his fifteen year old Viking (s. Jacomar) he stayed clear in a time of 35.08 seconds. This was good enough to claim the victory.

We also saw two Swiss riders on the podium. Steve Guerdat and the ten year old mare Hannah (s. Dulf van den Bisschop) ended in second place after a smooth clear round in 35.48 seconds. Werner Muff and the nine year old Daimler (s. Canturano) completed the top three. They ended with zero penalties in 36.16 seconds.

The top five was made complete by Sanne Thijssen with the grey mare Celine M Z (s. Crusador) and Bertram Allen with the grey stallion Hector van d'Abdijhoeve (s. Cabrio van de Heffinck). They finished in respectively 36.31 seconds and 37.05 seconds.
