After Sweden's morning win it was Dutch Michel Hendrix who topped te 1.40m CSI2* class in Drachten. Aboard the
Zangersheide-mare, Alaska (by Asca Z) he was on top of his rivals. Hendrix crossed the finish in 52.95 seconds, just no five seconds faster as
Stephex Stables-rider, Petronella Andersson. Andersson and Carriere (by Catoki) followed as runner-up after a clear finish in 57.24 seconds.
Switzerland's Simone Buhofer and Riosco (by Helios De La cour) placed third. The pair stopped the clock in 58.18 seconds.
A trio of Dutch combinations followed with Berber Dijkman ahead. Dijkman and Eizgravin (by Quasimodo Z) placed fourth. Kim Emmen (Delvaux) followed in a fifth spot while Suzanne Tepper and Acascia (by Diamant de Semilly) completed the top six.
