Niels Bruynseels superior in Coupe de Genève
After the Grand Prix Special and the first round of driving, it was time for the show jumping riders to enter the ring in Palexpo, Geneva. It was a 1.55m class with jump-off. The first round only had combinations and it was a real challenge to stay clear. Only eight riders managed to stay clear.

It was Belgium's Niels Bruynseels who claimed the victory with his eleven year old mare Gancia de Muze (s. Malito de Reve). Bruynseels stayed clear in a time of 29.92 seconds. His compatriot Jérôme Guery tried to be faster with his grey stallion Garfield de Tiji des Templiers (s. Quasimodo Z), but was a little bit slower in 30.12 seconds. Sweden's Henrik Von Eckermann completed the top three with Chacanno (s. Chacco-Blue) by staying clear in 31.40 seconds.

Further in the top five we saw Paul Estermann with Curtis Sitte (s. Ugano Sitte) and Alexis Deroubaix with Timon d'Aure (s. Milord Carthago). They stayed clear in respectively 31.41 seconds and 34.02 seconds.
