Nigel Coupe wins Longines ranking class in Dubai after controlled jump-off

A few moments ago, the class Gulf News Cup was ridden in Dubai, a Longines rankingclass 1,45m. This turned out to be a very good time to shine for the British rider Nigel Coupe, who won this class aboard Golvers Hill, a fifteen-year-old Irish bred son of Ricardo Z x Clover Hill. Coupe stopped the clock at 46,23 seconds after a clear jump-off.

That time was 0,26 seconds faster than Khalid Hilal Al Khatri, who rode Sierra (Silvio) to the second place. In third place came the Turkish rider Derin Demirsoy with his Belgian bred Dadjak ter Puttenen, a son of Toulon.

Ukranian rider Rene Tebbel took the fourth place with J'adore (Kashmir van Schuttershof), Celine Schoonbroodt-De Azevedo jumped Venus de l'Eyre (Quick Star) to place five for Belgium.
