Pieter Devos and Belgian bred Espoir (Surcouf de Revel) just lost the first place to Kevin Staut in Doha. Staut en Silver Deux de Virton HDC (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Heartbreaker) won in 73,28 seconds, Devos cleared the jumps in 73,97 seconds. Sergio Alvarez Moya and Carlo (Contender) took the third place for Spain with a time of 74,23 seconds.
The rest of the places in the top five were also very close together. Martin Fuchs and Clooney (Cornet Obolensky) came in fourth with a time of 74,36 seconds for Switzerland, the young Irish talent Bertram Allen and Molly Malone V (Kannan) only needed half a second more and took the fifth place.
