Porter takes spectacular win in Grand Prix the Peelbergen
In the Dutch equestrian Center De Peelbergen, the CSI2* Grand Prix has just been ridden. 60 combinations entered the show ring for this 1m45 class, 14 of them jumped a clear first round meaning a jump-off with 14 combinations had to decide about the winner.

While the Dutch riders were very strong in the CSI1* Grand Prix, it were the foreign riders who ruled the show in the 2-star GP. The victory went to the American rider Lucas Porter. He rode his Baloubet du Rouet mare Be Once Z to the finish line in 37,60 seconds. With this time he beat the Dutch rider Otmar Eckermann who took account of the second place with Coco Bongo Boy (f. Cassini Boy Junior). Eckermann jumped a clear jump-off with his 9-year old stallion and finished in 37,81 seconds. Katrin Eckermann completed the top three with Dalien Swally R.P. (f. C-Indoctro). They left the wood untouched as well and finished in 38,33 seconds.

The Irish Jenny Rankin and Bennys Legacy (f. Lupicor) took account of the fourth place. Iseau Wong and Zadarijke V (f. San Remo) followed on fifth place.

Erlier today the Dutch rider Lowie Joppen won the CSI2* Accumulator. He and Bianca III (f. Casall) jumped a clear round in 53,19 seconds. With this time he beat all competition. The second place went to the Swedish rider Malin Parmler. She and her 10-year old Baloubet du Rouet daughter left all fences untouched and finished in 54,87 seconds. Zoe Osterhoff and Quasi Forma Z (f. Quasimodo Z) ended on third spot.

The Italian rider Antonio Alfonso and Diana Marsa-Lafarge completed the top five. They saddled respectively Dardino (f. Quinten Van'T Merelsnest) and Andi D Emiralia (f. Diamant de Semilly).
