Last year Simone Blum surprised with a victory at the German Championships for female riders. This year she stepped-up as the ultimate winner in the mixed Championships.  Aboard her 10-year-old mare Alice (by Askari) she collected a total of only 0,25 points. Not jumping one rail down over the four rounds.

The top three didn't make it easy for each other. The number two, Holger Hetzel and the 13-year-old Legioner 2 (by Limbus) collected like Blum only penalties in the opening round. The pair collected a total of 0,75 points. Also Rolf Moorman and Sambe de Janeiro (by Stolzenberg) jumped together 4 points in the first course.

Marco Kutscher didn't start his trusted Van Gogh, but Caccorina. This weekend the CSI5*-horse of Kutscher (Van Gogh) was at work under the saddle of Caroline Müller. Kutscher collected four points to settle for fourth.

Simone Blum is the second female rider ever to win the tournament. Only Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum did it before her.
