The first week began on Tuesday evening at the beautiful CaliPaso Winery with a Welcome Party sponsored by Denize Borges and Crystal Image Farm. Many thanks go to Denize for her generous sponsorship of the event and giving everyone the chance to enjoy a little down time! The wonderful wine selection and tasty food provided was enjoyed by everyone who attended, a lovely evening that got everyone into a relaxed Paso Robles state of mind and ready for the week ahead.

Competition began on today with all four rings keeping busy, both the turf and the GGT-Footing in the LD Hayes and Oak Grove Arena's are looking beautiful and well groomed. Thursday brings the $750 USHJA Green Hunter Challenge and on Friday afternoon the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby presented by Asuncion Valley Farms. On Saturday all eyes will be on the LD Hayes Arena for the $35,000 LA Saddlery Grand Prix.
