Unbeatable Germany on top in Aachen's Nations Cup
Every riders dream is to compete in the green arena of the Aachen Soers. Today the top show jumping riders completed their Nations Cup at the CHIO. A total of eight teams took the start with Switzerland to kick-off.

On home soil the German team claimed the spoils in this Nations Cup competition making the crowd go wild. The German show jumping team realized a zero-score. Marcus Ehning with Pret A Tout (by Hiram Chambertain), Maurice Tebbel with the Chacco-Blue zon Chacco's Son and Philipp Weishaupt with LB Convall (by Colman) all kept a clear score. Marcus Kutscher and Clenur (by Carinue) noted one elimination score.



The silver medal result was claimed by the United States of America. With a total of eight points the USA followed as runner-up thanks to the results of Kent Farrington with Gazelle (by Kashmir van het Schuttershof), Elizabeth Madden with Coac (by Con Air), Laura Kraut with Zeemonie (by Vero) and McLain Ward with HH Azur (by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve). Both Kraut and McLain Ward rode a double clear round.

Also the Swiss team finished with eight points in total. Werner Muff (Daimler,, by Canturano) and Steve Guerdat (Hannah, by Dulf vd Bisschop) both rode a double clear round. Martin fuchs (Clooney 51, by Cornet Obolensky) and Njada Peter Steiner completed the team.

Just outside the stage placed the Belgium showjumping team, currently in the lead of the Europe Division 2 series.

Unfortunate for Guy Williams his 17-year-old Titus (by Lancelot) made a wrong landing after the double combination. Guy mounted off and Titus has been transported to the hospital. There's no diagnose revealed yet.
