The 11-year-old gelding, Cornetto K (Cornet Obolensky x Calido) jumped under the saddle of JAn Tops' rider, Alberto Zorzi. The pair competed at this year's FEI European Championships, finishing fourth. Last year Cornetto K was Doda de Miranda's partner in crime at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
With Zorzi in the saddle Cornetto K won the CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Monaco in June as wells as placing second in the LGCT Grand Prix in Miami this year.
Also Living the Dream (Toulon x Flamenco de Semilly) joins Thornton's stables. Recently Living the Dream was competed by Zorzi, winning the CSI4* 1.50m class at the Sunshine Tour in March.
