Exit Schwizer, Jan Tops welcomes new horse
Jan Tops, the brain behin the Longines Global Champions Tour series, has acquired a new horse for his wife. Caretina de Joter (Caretino x Contender) has switched Pius Schwizer's stables for those of Jan Tops and Edwina Tops Alexander. With the sale Pius Schwizer loses his a priori European Championships-horse.

Before Schwizer it was Ireland's Cameron Hanley who rode Caretina. With Schwizer Caretina finished second in the Grand Prix of the LGCT in Shanghai, claimed an 11th place in the Rolex Grand Slam Grand Prix in Aachen. Owner of the horse, Eléonore Paschoud explains the sell was inevitable. "I love horses and I am a passionate amateur. However I am not able to run a professional stable. I hope Edwina and Caretina will have a great sportive future. Further I'll trust some young horses to Morgane Dassio."

When asked about Schwizer's second top horse, Living the Dream, Paschoud remains silent. "I don't know yet what will bring his future." If Caretina will actually be ridden by Edwina Tops Alexander, or one of Jan Tops home-riders is yet unknown.
